The traditional Le Mans Series year-end awards ceremony took place last week-end, and many well-known endurance racing names were gathered in Paris for the occasion. For the first time in its history, constructor team Pescarolo was called twice to the stage to accept an award.

Firstly, the team joined Audi and Peugeot on the stage thanks to its third place upon the 2008 season's overall LMP1 podium. The team returned to accept another constructor's award, this time standing next to Porsche and Lola for their efforts in reaching the championship podium in the LMP2 category as well.

The 2008 LMS season was once again a demonstration of the Pescarolo outfit's reliability and determination in taking its place amongst the top-ranking competitors.
The prize-giving ceremony served to underline the efforts and motivation of the team, as well as Henri Pescarolo's role as team manager and constructor.

In the drivers' standings, the organisation's highest-placed driver is Jean-Christophe Bouillon, who finished the 2008 season in sixth position with 15 points to his name. The Pescarolo LMP1 cars count two third-place finishes this season, at Barcelona and Silverstone.

In the LMP2 class, the crew composed of Pierre Ragues and Matthieu Lahaye took second place at the 1000km of Nürburgring and third place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
